Karuna Verma is an Indian Television Actress. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She did her schooling from Mumbai only. She went to Pune for her graduation. She is a very talented actress. She was interested in joining modeling as well as acting world since her school days. She did TV serials and few TV commercials as well.

She got her first role in the show “Maayka- Sath Zindagi Bhar Ka” in 2007. In this show she played the character of “Jyoti Khurana” who is the youngest daughter of Durga and has been married to Parmeet. After this show Karuna got the role in the serial “” which was telecasted on Star One channel. She appeared in the role of a mother’s role in the show where she was seen as a ware-wolf. According to the show, ware-wolves are those humans who have the ability to shape-shift into a wolf. Her character name was “Dipannita Khurana”. This show was started in 2010. It was first titled as Fanna – A dark love story but afterwards it was named as Pyar Ki Ek Kahani. This show was made on the story base of the Hollywood movie Twilight. In this show there were vampires and were-wolves, who hated each other. Another phase of this show was a romantic show.

Recently she acted in the show “Sasural Simar Ka” which was telecasted on Colors TV channel. It was started in 2011. The serial is based on Simar and Roli, who are two sisters. They got married to Prem and Siddhant who are two brothers. In this show Karuna played the role of a modern mother “Shanti Arora”. Her role is inspired by Ratna Pathak Shah’s role in the movie "Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na”.
