Gouri Tonk is one of the few Indian television stars who successfully made a comeback after a long period. She is married to and the couple has a sweet little girl.

Gouri Tonk is a television actress who has performed for various television series and reality shows with success. She started her career as an actress opposite Yash Tonk in the serial Kaahin Kissii Roz, which was aired on Star Plus. She was playing a role with negative shades for that television serial. After the completion of long running serial, Gouri Yadav Tonk married Yash Tonk and stopped acting. However, she came back to television screen in 2006 when she took part with her husband Yash Tonk in the popular dance competition television show Nach Baliye Season 2. The couple won hearts of judges and viewers alike and was declared runner up for the season 2.

Since then Gouri Tonk is continuing to get good roles in various television series and projects. She has played some bold roles for the real stories based television serial Crime Patrol: Dastak which has been aired on Sony TV. She has also played a major role in the television serial telecasted on Life OK in which she played the role of mother of the male protagonist Mrityunjay whose role was played by . Gouri Tonk also participated in the reality television show which was aired on Sony TV in the year 2011.
