Vishal Bhonsle got fame and recognition through the reality TV show, DADAGIRI, which aired on the channel, Bindass TV in 2008. The contestants were selected each week, and they were asked to compete for an amount of Rs. 50,000. The show was hosted by three bullies – The Mindstein, The Goddess and The Beast. Vishal portrayed the role of Beast in the show. His role was the meanest and cruelest character. But opposite to his role in the show, Vishal is a humble and loving person in real life. Vishal himself acclaims that Bhai (The beast) in Dadagiri was the worst side of human nature. In fact, he says he feels sorry for the contestants of the show. The role of Bhai in the show is to pick on various contestants and consequently make their life a night mare. On a naughty note, Vishal confesses that he likes trying all harsh tricks on the contestants. His role demands him to test the limits of all contestants, both mentally and physically. In fact, it was his rough and tough behaviour that was praised by all viewers of dadagiri. Vishal started his career with Gladrag’s Manhunt Contest, in which he got the title of “Best Physique”. Vishal always cherished a desire for building his body. With a fit body and good looks, acting and commercials poured in for the actor. Vishal also worked with the famous Balaji Telefilms for the serial Kesar. In Kesar, he played the role of Arjun, and in his next, Babool Ka Aangan, it portrayed the role of Dhruv, which was a negative role. He started his stint in Bollywood with the film, Dehradun Diaries, in which his role was a negative one, and it is said that he worked for this movie without using a body double for action sequences. The young actor’s next project was the blockbuster, Kaminey in which he beautifully portrayed the role of Steve, again a negative character.
