Tanmay Jahagirdar

Tanmay Jahagirdar is an Indian artist who acts in the Bollywood film industry and Hindi television industry. He was born on 1st November 1990 in Mumbai. He embarked on his career as a child artist. He is known for the film Ab Tak Chhappan. As an adult, he is known for his role in Ab Tak Chhappan 2. Tanmay is the son of Vilas Jahagirdar and Madhuri Jahagirdar.

He attended school at the Oxford Public School in Mumbai. He attended college at the S. S. & L. S. Patkar College in Goregaon in Mumbai, affiliated to the Mumbai University. He holds a Diploma in Engineering and a Bachelor degree in Mass Media. Tanmay made his acting debut in the Bollywood industry with the Hindi film The Truth… Yatharth directed by Rajesh Seth. The feature film hit the big screens on 21st October 2002. At the age of thirteen, he came under the spotlight for his role in the thriller flick Ab Tak Chhappan produced by Ram Gopal Verma.

He played the lead role on the TV show Kya Mujhse Dosti Karoge which aired on Hungama TV in 2007. In 2011, he also acted in one of the crime series Adalat’s episode which aired on Sony TV. Tanmay appeared in television commercials for Siyaram Suitings, BSA-ibike, Parry’s Lacto King and many others. Tanmay took a hiatus from acting after acting in Phir Kabhi to focus on his studies.
