Aejaz Gulab started his entertainment career as a stunt performer. That quickly grew into a Stunt Coordinator and stunt director.  Then after a decade, he also became an Action director as he was designing the grand scope of an action sequence from thought all the way to the edit.  As an action director, he took credit for Shootout at Lokhandwala.

Aejaz Gulab’s father, Gulab Rao was very close to Amitabh Bachchan, who was also an action director then. Hence, he chose this profession and climbed the ladder from stunt double to action director and then finally became an independent director. His dream is now to do a project based on the life of stunt doubles and showcase the struggles they undergo in real life.  He is still associated as a stunt director in many upcoming movies. His first job was as a stunt double for a Hema Malini’s film “Insaaf Bhawani Ka”. Aejaz Gulab was an absolute genius in this field, but while directing Ab Tak Chhappan-2, he did not want to incorporate unnecessary stunt scenes in the film.
