Shailesh Lodha

A smile is what appears in your mouth, whenever you see him on your television screens. Shailesh Lodha is one of the most talented comedians in the Indian television industry. Shailesh Lodha was born on July 15th, 1969, in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Since childhood, he has been fond of making people laugh, he used to write his own jokes and used to perform in front of his friends and family, just to make them laugh. 

The first time he appeared on Indian television screen was in comedy circus (June 16, 2007-present) aired on Sony entertainment television, as a contestant. He also appeared in the sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (28 July 2008 – Present), aired on SAB Tv, as columnist Tarak Mehta.

He is also a writer and has published four books until now, some of them based on satirical humor, and one which he co-write to his wife, who is an educationist and management guru, and it is a self-help book. He has been a part of the television industry for a short time, but he has already received three awards by now, two of them were the best anchor award, which he received at Zee Gold Awards (2014) and Sab Ke Anokhe Award (2012).

“Writing is what helps me relax." Shailesh Lodha stated in an interview and said that even in his spare time he likes to write, as it helps him transfer all that he is going on in his life, into words and out of his head.
