Born in Berhampur, Odisha, the actor is a brother of former Ranji cricketer, Jitu Satpathy. He has done his schooling from St. Vincent Convent School. After graduation from Khallikote Autonomous College, in B. Tech from Computer Science, he worked in an IT firm for a while. This engineering graduate, born on 29 January 1976, has struggled to reach the heights of success he has achieved.
Sabyasachi trains the youth, who aspire to enter into the industry. He hosted several shows, such as Femina Miss India 2017. He owns a forum, Keembdanti, through which designers and artists can sell their artwork directly. Several times, he has organized the Bhubaneshwar Fashion Week. In 2017, he became a star campaigner of the BJP party, right after joining it. Thus, Sabyasachi is a chef, actor, entrepreneur, and politician.
