Nikhil Arya is one of the popular faces of Indian television and has been part of a number of well known shows. He began his career in the TV industry in the year 2004 when he essayed a negative character named Rudra in
Ekta Kapoor
’s Kesar. His portrayal was appreciated by the audience and Nikhil became a known face. Since then, he has acted in many other Indian TV serials including Kasturi that aired on Star Plus and was a love fable about Robbie and Kasturi. Rabba Ishq Na Hove also featured him. The story was based on a love triangle.
Tere Liye
and Chhoona Hai Aasman are also among his good works. The former is a story based on the sacrifices in love and the later is a story revolving around six Indian air force officers. His role has been appreciated in both these serials as well.
In the 2013 version of mythological TV series Mahabharat, Arya essayed the role of Hindu god Lord Indra. Most recently, he was roped in for a negative role by director Ekta Kapoor for her new show Yeh Dil Sun Raha Hai. The show is currently running on new television channel Sony Pal.
Nikhil Arya has also made guest appearances in shows like Uttaran and Encounter. In the former, he was seen as a no nonsense cop while in the latter, he played the role of real life cop and encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar in one of the episodes. Nikhil is one of the finest actors in Indian television and has been proving it time and again by pulling off difficult roles with ease.
