Kenneth Sebastian

Kenneth Sebastian alias Kenny, is an Indian stand-up comedian, filmmaker, and musician. He was born on 31 December 1990. He started making films at an early age using a borrowed camera. He completed his graduation in Visual Arts. He also studied painting for four years. His first act on stage was at an IIT Fest in Mumbai when he was nineteen. Kenny directed twelve short films and two feature films by the age of twenty-three. His YouTube channel also features a monthly blog called ‘Chai Time with Sebastian’ in which he shares his viewpoint concerning day to day matters of life. Other than being a comedian, Kenny is also a vocalist and guitarist. He shares his versions of Bollywood songs on Instagram and YouTube. He has travelled through Singapore, United States, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, etc. Some of his vlogs are available on YouTube. Kenny is a huge fan of the Caped Crusader- Batman based on the fact that he owns some Batman - related merchandise and comments on the related topics many times. He encountered complete failure when he tried to be a musician. But his struggle comes forward to share with the Amazon Originals show ‘Die Trying’ in which a musical tale is told where parental expectations come along with other hardships.

This series has been filmed by Kuzema Haveliwala. Regarding the show, Kenny says that he wanted to be a part of writing such a show to showcase the dilemma of being an artiste - where too much listening to other people’s views could force the person to give up all together while not listening at all will affect growth. He describes that acting is not his cup of tea, adding that actors should be cast for acting purpose and not comics like him.
