Born and brought up in Mthatha, South Africa, Kaneez Surka is an actor, comedian, and an Improv artist. Most popularly known for her inclusion in the Judge Panel of Amazon Prime’s comedy show Comicstaan, Surka also hosts The General Game Show, an online comedy, on YouTube.
Before graduating from Rhodes University in law and psychology, she used to study in DSG, Graham School. It was the CNN-IBN show The Week That Wasn’t which marked her first notable appearance in the industry.
So far, Surka has worked in many AIB videos like The Honest Series, If Apps Were People, and A Woman’s Besties. Alongside Kenny Sebastian, Abish Matthew, and Kannan Gill, she is also a part of The Improvisers, which is an improv group on Amazon Prime Video.
