Jayshree Talpade (born 1953) is an Indian actor and dancer appearing in Bollywood movies. Talpade, began her career when she was five years old in 1958 with Goonj Uthi Shehnai. She became well-known when she started performing dance acts in movies, supporting Kathak. However, she had already started working in the industry as a child artist in Sangeet Samrat Tansen, Zameen Ke Taare (1960), and Pyar Ki Pyaas (1961). In an interview she said it was Gopi Kishan who noticed her dancing in a movie. At an early age, she wanted to become a doctor, but fate happened when film director Amit Bose cast her in a dance series for Abhilasha in 1968 after being recommended by choreographer Harmendar. She later performed in over 500 films in the 1970s and 1980s. She played vampire-comedy and beautiful roles.

Jayshree has acted in various Indian languages including Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marwadi, Rajasthani, English, Sindhi Assamese, Bhojpuri, Oriya, Haryani, Garyali, Nepali Punjabi, Marathi, and Gujarati. She has performed internationally with stars like Mohammad Rafi, Manna Dey, Mukesh, and Asha Bhosle. She won two Maharashtra State Government awards for the Marathi movie as the leading lady, three Gujarat kingdom authorities awards, Hyderabad Award, and six lions membership awards from Delhi and Mumbai.
