Vikrant Singta

Vikrant Singta is an actor who works in the Hindi film industry. He has completed his education from Shimla, and since his childhood showed an inclination towards acting.

During his high school years, he was fascinated with theater acting and started doing plays and skits. In his first year in college, he joined a theater group called Sankalp and continued doing skits and plays and consequently enhancing his acting skills.

To earn some money on the side, Vikrant worked in a call center before finally moving to Mumbai to pursue his career as an actor. In an interview, Vikrant cited that his family always supported him in his dream to be an actor.

They never questioned his choices. Vikrant believes that theater acting was a major catalyst in his movie career, however personally, he isn’t very much inclined towards working in theater but he claims that he learnt a lot in theater that helped him and will keep helping him in his movie career.

His first job on the camera as an actor came in a commercial about the BSNL. After that, he appeared in numerous other commercials for McDonald’s, Samsung and many other brands. He also starred in a few short films before earning his big break for the movie Neerja.

The movie about the brave air-hostess Neerja, where she handles a plane hijack while in the air. Vikrant portrayed the character of Fahad, a terrorist who helps in the hijacking of the plane. His upcoming project is with the South Indian director, Raghav Lawrence, titled Kaal Bhairav.

The movie has some similarities with Baahubali in terms of the grandness of the film. Vikrant has refused to take up many roles over the fears of being type-casted but we will see a lot of him in the future for sure.
