The Indian film industry is the plethora of different regional films in India, which makes it the world's largest industry in terms of THE number of films produced yearly. However the Sikh community has been portrayed under derogatory light. Still some celebrities are uplifting the image of Sikh Community one of them is Mr. Manpreet Singh, he did graduation in mass media and a postgraduate degree in Management from Bombay University, since then he had a quality of being an artist as he participated in various inter-college events and programs.

He started his acting career since 2000, and now he has his own production house 9a Entertainment. He has also worked in TV serials, ad films, and cinema. "Yeh meri life hai" and "Kabhi Toh Milenge" are some of the serials he has worked. His first length movie is “Sat Sri Akal” to commemorate 300th anniversary of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, which is based on a true story and spread the socio-religious message, the film revolves around love, sentiments, and belief towards Guru Sahib Ji and by following his teachings one can gain relief from conflicts of life.

Manpreet has an utmost belief in Guru Ji, and despite having been approached to cut down his hair, he denied as the turban represents his religious belief. He gives a message to the young entrant in the industry to be not carried away with the glamour of the film industry and follow your ideologies, which would change the negative portrayal of Sikhs.
