Kishore Pradhan

Kishore Pradhan was an Indian actor who predominately worked in Marathi and Hindi film industry. He was born on 1st November 1932 to a liberal Hindu family who supported his journey for his love of art throughout. Their support allowed him to take up acting right from his school days. As a step forward, he started working as a child artist in plays and radio. While he was pursuing M.A in economics from Morris College in Nagpur, he started theatre.

He joined as a research scholar in The Tata institute of social sciences, Mumbai, and later started joined Glaxo Laboratories. He juggled his work and theatre life well, as he started his theatre group Natraj. His first breakthrough came in the year 1970 with his debut play Kaka Kishachar. In the year 1987, after working for 25 years, in 1994, he left his conventional job to pursue full time acting. He did more than 100 Marathi plays, 18 English plays, and also made an appearance in English, Hindi and Marathi movies.
