Sanchari Sengupta is a young Indian singer hailing from West Bengal. Sanchari was born on 8 January 2001 in Kolkata, West Bengal. She is the daughter of Sudipta Sengupta and Pushpita Sengupta. Sanchari is trained in the opera style of singing from the London School of Music, Kolkata. Sanchari's first appearance on television was on the ETV reality show- Sa Theke Sa Junior in 2011, and came out as the winner. She also appeared as a contestant on the show Super Singer of Star Jalsa Bengali TV in 2020. In 2022, Sanchari participated as a contestant on the popular singing reality TV show Indian Idol Season 13. Sanchari won the National Bal Shree Samman Award by the Government of India in 2012. She has also won the Pogo Amazing Kid Award in 2014 in the singing category.
