Raxstar is a famous British-Punjabi rapper and musician. He was born on November 21, 1983, to an Indian Punjabi Sikh family in Luton, a town located in East of England. Raxstar has two brothers, one younger and one elder. His nickname was Rax during his school days and, when he did graffiti, he used to draw a star next to his name; from there, he got his name Raxstar. He developed his taste in music from the age of 12 to 13 years. He used to listen to various Punjabi and English songs. He started performing in concerts and shows where he met new artists and learned from them. His family was supportive towards his music carrier. Raxstar got more attention in the mainstream through his tracks which include ‘Jaaneman,’ ‘Ego,’ ‘Poison,’ and ‘Balwant’. He has also performed a song titled ‘Driving School’ for ‘Corner Shop Show,’ a British comedy-drama web series that premiered in March 2014 on Youtube.

Raxstar has been featured in one of Rishi Rich’s projects after releasing music on his website. Some of his mixtapes include ‘Lost Ones’ (2008), ‘Spring Cleaning’ (2010),  ‘About A Girl’ (2011), ‘Late on Time’ (2012), and ‘Dream Warriors Live Session’ (2014). Studio albums recorded by Raxstar include ‘Glass Ceiling’ (2018), ‘Artbreak’ (2019), and ‘Threats’ in collaboration with Kaly in 2019. Some popular songs by Raxstar include ‘Kaala Doreya,’ ‘Ankhiyaan,’ ‘Ki Kargayi,’ ‘Yamla Jat,’ and ‘Sun Raha’. Raxstar has bagged many awards in his music carrier; these include ‘Best Urban Asian Act’ in ‘Brit Asia TV Music Awards 2014’, ‘Eastern Eye’s Best Independent Act’ in 2014, and Best Collaboration for Dance by F1rstman, H. Dhami, Juggy D, Raxstar and Mumzy in ‘Brit Asia TV Music Awards 2019’. At present, Raxstar is known worldwide and has a huge fan base.
