Paroma was born on April 23 into a Bengali family; she became famous in Filmography through playback singing back in 2008. Her hits include ELar Char Adhyay in 2012, Bhuter Bhabishyat in 2012, Nouka Dubi in 2011, Narak Guljar in 2009 and many more. Apart from playback singing Paroma also hosted shows on small screen.

She was the anchor of the Bengali show Rojgere Ginni which brought her much appreciation. She did other roles in flicks like Ebong Ritupamo sudhu tomari Jonyo but later quit due to work-related conflicts. During her television career, Paroma had conflicts with the makers which led to a strain in her career.
