Parakhjeet Singh

A twenty- two- years old boy born in Sangrur Punjab, he is one of the top contestants in voice India season 2. His talent and passion towards singing give a very tough competition to his fellow contestants. Parakhjeet has got no stage fear, as he has performed in various events in Punjab.

His efforts and hard work have put behind his small town and fighting to emerge as an upcoming playback singer. As his talent says it all, he has been learning singing since nine years under a classical singer guru Yasin Darbar. And this is the reason he has covered a long way in singing competition and made his place in top contestants of voice India season 2.

But he started his first step towards his goal by singing ‘ikk kudi’ song in blind auditions, and Shaan took him under his wings with composer Salim merchant, and through his guidance, this turban boy is making his most of all that reality show has to offer. A small town boy, Parakhjeet Singh values his friend and family for supporting him to choose his carrier under singing. He once said “I was never confident enough to be a part of such a grand show. My friends and family filled the form for ‘Sur Sartaaj’ that I won.

It’s because of their encouragement that I came so far! ”. One thing which rarely people know about Parakhjeet is that he is cousin brother of Dalijeet Kaur, who is a very famous actor in Punjab. As people know least about him this shy and innocent guy is very fond of his mother and love to travel different places. He has noted many achievements, and he finds the biggest of all when he got a chance to perform with his mentor Shaan in front of a crowd of 25000 to 30000.

Another live show lined up in his hometown Sangrur, this die-heart fan of Hariharan gives a major lesson that constant efforts and hard work never goes in vain. Seeing his talent, his cousin Dalijeet Kaur also gives him extreme support which helps him to boost confidence.
