One of the most notable music composers and most loved singers, Jagmohan Sursagar, was born on September 6, 1918, in British India. Born and brought up in West Bengal, he was always an ardent music fan. Indian folk and classical songs fascinated him the most. After the independence in 1947, he soon shifted to Bombay (now Mumbai) to pursue a career in music.
