Himanshu Barot is a renowned Hindi/Gujarati singer, songwriter and composer with several original releases. He works on Western classical, Indian classical, and in contemporary genres of music. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Indian classical music. He also went to A R Rahman’s KM Music conservatory in Chennai to study western classical music. He has performed in many prestigious venues which include KM Conservatory, Goethe Institute, JG College of Performing Arts and many more. He has also remained a part of ensembles and choir bands such as Vocal Chamber Ensemble, Madras Box, Harmony Bunch, and Ahmedabad City Choir. He won the title of Greatest Potential in Art Song Festival in 2020. Some of his creations are Jay Adhyashakti, Sajan Tera Sambharna, Desi Re Dhol Vagya, Shamalji Na Mele, Raas NaTale, Radha Sang Raas, Lakhvu Che Taru Naam, Eklo Mukine, Het No Sagar, Bas Tu Hi Tu Nazar Aata Hai, Aankho Mein Bas Tu Hi Tu, Khodiyar Mavadi, Gunesha Ala Re, Khodal Khamkari, etc.
