Baba Sehgal is a multi-talented Indian play back signer who has also acted in various film industries. He began his career as a rapper, one of the first in India. One of his biggest hits was a remake of the popular Vanilla Ice’s "Ice Ice Baby" in Hindi, 'Thanda Thanda Paani’.

Baba studied to become and electrical engineer and went to G.B. Pant University in Pantnagar. He joined the music industry in 1990’s releasing five albums from 1990 - 1999. Almost all his songs were written and composed by him. Along with his albums he has a career as a playback singer in Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Begali films. 

Baba has had a career in acting starring in the 1998 Bollywood film Miss 420. The romance thriller wasn’t much of a hit but it allowed Baba to establish himself as an actor also. After taking a long hiatus from acting in films he appeared in My Friend Ganesha 3 in 2010. Along with films Baba has also appeared on various television shows. He was a contestant on the popular reality show, Big Boss. He put up a fight but could not win the contest. 

Baba has developed an all-round career in India from singing all the way to acting. He however is more notably known for singing than he is known for acting.
Atif Aslam Hindi Actor

Atif Aslam

Named Muhammad Atif Aslam when he was born, he is famously known as Atif Aslam. He started off his career as a pop singer in Pakistan and has made his way into Bollywood as a playback singer. He has also made cameo appearances in Indian films along with starring in Pakistani film Bol in 2011. Born in Wazirabad, Pakistan Atif moved to Rawalpindi where he pursued his studies. He moved back to Lahore and attended Punjab College from where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree. Asif was an avid cricket fan and hoped to play cricket for the Pakistani national team but when that didn’t pan out he began singing. He formed a band, Jal, and recorded his first song “Aadat” spending his own money. The song became an instant hit online and was one of the biggest hit at the time. He released his first album Jal Pari which featured “Bheegi Yaadein” which was featured in the Indian movie Zeher by the name “Woh Lamhe”.Asif continued his solo musical career after he left Jal and worked on two albums, Doorie and Meri Kahani. He performed in sold out concerts at home and internationally touring U.S. and Canada. In 2006 he recorded Tere Bin for the Indian movie Bas Ek Pal. He won Best Playback Singer (Male) at the Filmfare Award for Tere Bin. He continued to lend his vocals for Indian movies and sung songs for Race 1 and 2, among other films. Atif is currently married to Sara Bharwana, his long-time school girlfriend. He broke many hearts when he tied the knot with her in 2013.


Babul Supriyo

Born on 15th December 1970, Babul Supriyo is a talented singer. He is also an actor and politician. At present, he holds the post of Minister of State for Urban Development under the regulation of Government of India. He is also Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation. As a cinema artist, he has worked in over 70 films. Other than Hindi, he has given his voice for Oriya and Bengali films.  The year 2014 saw him entering politics; he got himself associated with the Narendra Modi’s government. He was the youngest minister at that time. Supriyo was initially working in a bank, but quite this coveted job owing to his passion for singing. He has a beautiful voice which to an extent resembles Kumar Sanu, a reputed Bollywood singer. But Supriyo feels that everybody faces an identity crisis.  He has worked in Bengali flicks as a lead hero.  Supriyo is a B. Com Honors graduate.Supriyo had his early days in Uttarpara, Hooghly. He imbibed music skills from his grandfather Banikantha N C Baral who was a composer and vocalist in Bengali. Supriyo’s singing prowess was noticed, and he went on to gain recognition at inter-school and inter-college level. He also performed on a consistent basis in Doordarshan and All India Radio. Supriyo journeyed to Mumbai in 1992 to establish a profession in Bollywood. Supriyo considered this equivalent to climbing a mountain. He took the test of time and eventually his works were observed. Chanda Chamke, Pari Hai Ek Pari and Dil Ne Dil Ko Pukara are some of the hits of this talented singer.  Chander Bari, Ogo Bodhu Shundori, and Hit List are some of the Bengali flicks in which he worked. Supriyo drew inspiration from ace singer Kishore Kumar. Having starting his profession with the name Supriyo, he later changed it to Supriyo. The songs of the 1997 flick Saat Rang Ke Sapne made Supriyo very famous. This flick was directed by Priyadarshan. The number O Piya O Piya from Agni Sakshi was also a success, but it was wrongly thought to be Kumar Sanu’s voice. The album Tere Liye was a successful endeavor of Supriyo.  Kalyanji was instrumental in providing Supriyo with several live shows in India as well as overseas. Since the mid-90s, Supriyo started associating himself with Bollywood and churned out several hits.  ON his personal front, Supriyo is separated from his wife, Rhea. They are blessed with a daughter. Supriyo never minds speaking what he feels in real life.
