Azmat Hussain

Azmat Hussain was born on 10 January 2001 in Jaipur, Rajasthan is a singer. Azmat has a natural talent for singing and was inclined towards it from a very young age and started learning music from his uncles and other family members when he was four. Azmat's grandfather Rafiq Hussian has also been familiar with classical music, and his father, Zafar Hussain, was a keyboard player. There are three brothers and three sisters in his family. Azmat has never been to school and was home-schooled until he was 12 years old. Azamt took training in music from the 'Mathura Walo Ki haveli.

' In 2011, Azamt started his singing career by participating in the Singing reality show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs" and won the title just at the age of 10 years. Azmat's passionate performance of Khuda Kare earned him a standing ovation from the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs judges. He was highly taken by his voice when famous singer Kailash Kher told him, "At this age, if you sing so beautifully, after a few years, there will be a Gharana bearing your name." and received the winner's trophy from the Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan. For his fantastic achievement at this very young, he has been honored by Rajasthan's Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot with a flat in the MIG category of Rajasthan Housing Board & a fixed deposit of Rs. 11 Lakh in his name and also a family trip to Disneyland.

After this, he recorded a qawwali for the Bollywood film "Rambhajjan Zindabaad" and got chances to perform at various events and stage shows nationwide. But as time changed, he grew up long, and his voice tone started changing, which made him stop singing for three years. After a gap of eight long years, he returned to stage performance.
