Angaraag Mahanta is an Indian composer, singer and record artist. Angaraag is the founder and lead singer of Papon, a folk fusion band and also for The East India Company. He was born on November 24, 1975. His parents Archana Mahanta and Khagen Mahanta were bothe Assamese folk singer. He started learning music early in life. He spent most childhood life in Assam and was born in Guwahati. Angaraag went through training for Folk music, Devotional Music, and Classical. He is presently residing in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He got his nickname as Papon from the band he made in 2007. Angaraag is survived by his wife Shweta Mishra Mahanta and two children, Puhor and Parijat.

Gippy Grewal is an actor and singer in the Indian movie industry. He was born near Ludhiana in a village called Koom Kalan and has two sons with his wife, Ravneet Kaur Grewal. He performs for the genres of Pop, Punjabi, and Bhangra. His music career began with an album whose producer was Aman Hayer. This album, named Chakkh Lai, was succeeded by Gangster, Phulkari, Phulkari 2 Just Hits and Nasha. His most popular work has been the song “Angreji Beat” which was heard in the Bollywood hit Cocktail. His 2013 song “Hello Hello” was filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada. His Punjabi songs are very popular and have even broken records (Phularki). His reach is so wide that in the year 2014, he sang at the Sandwell and Birmingham Mela. His acting career started in 2010 where he played a supporting role in the movie Mel Karade Rabba. He then acted in the Punjabi blockbuster film: Jihne Mera Dil Luteya, where he was the lead. This performance won him the PTC Punjabi Film Award in the year 2012. His 2012 movie, film Mirza - The Untold Story, had the highest opening till that time. In 2013, he acted in Singh vs. Kaur, Lucky Di Unlucky Story, Best of Luck and Bhaji in Problem, which was all diverse films across different genres. The movies Jatt James Bond and Double Di Trouble were his releases in 2014. He won the PTC Punjabi Film Award for his role in Jatt James Bond. Gippy also dubbed for the Punjabi translation of the Hollywood movie A Good Day to Die Hard. He had his first cameo in the Bollywood movie Dharam Sankat Mein. He played a lead role in the film Second Hand Husband.
