He got famous after winning the singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’. The place where he was born is Muzaffarpur in Bihar. His mother was a lecturer in Mukherjee Seminary and his father was a manager in Punjab National Bank. He got his primary and secondary education from the prestigious school Muzaffarpur Sun Shine Prep High School. He passed his childhood in New Colony Sherpur in Muzaffarpur.
