Abdul Baaree is also known by another name, Abdul Bari Aboobakur, who was born on March 20, 1967, in Fulhadhoo, Maldives. He is an Indian musician, vocalist, and playback singer. He has worked on studio albums like Mathaaran. He started his career by performing in Aksheeba shows in 1990. The Maldives government presented him with the National Award of Recognition in 2005. He served at the time as a mentor for the students singing in the interschool competition. In 2007, he won the first Miadhu Crystal Award for Best Male Playback Singer for his song "Beynunvey Adhu Ekuga" from Hiyy Deewana 3. He is known for his songs, including "Beynunvey Adhu Ekuga," "Hiyy Deewana 3" (2000), "Bappaa Aimaa Aharen Vaa Ufaa" (2001), "Loabivan Aharen Malikaa Ey" (2008), "Kairivelanthoa Kairi Kurey" (2010), "Fari Nala Thibaage Soora" (2011), and many more.
