Achla Nagar is an Indian, film writer, dialogue writer, screenplay writer, actress, and author. She joined Bollywood in 1982 with B.R. Chopra’s movie Nikaah. She was the playwriter, while Rahi Masoom Reza was the literary advisor. Her screenplay and dialogues for the 1985 film, Aakhir Kyuon?, were very much praised. In 1986, she wrote for two famous films, Sadaa Sughan and Nagin. She was also the dialogue writer for director K. Viswanath’s film Eeshwar, and Harmesh Malhotra’s Nigahen: Nagina Part II. Other than this, she has written dialogue for films like Amiri Garibi, Dilbar, Afsana Dilwalon Ka, and Baghban. She is the writer of the 2006 film Baabul.
