Ashwini Shrivastav

Ashwini Shrivastav is a Mumbai-based art director and production designer who works primarily in the Bollywood film industry. Born and brought up in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, he holds a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He runs Dott Art Vision, which supervises the art department, set designing, and construction work for films, serials, ad films, web series, and other similar projects. His company has also designed many corporate and government events over the years. Notable among them is the Sanskriti Gram in 2019’s Kumbh Mela, which offered visitors a glimpse of India’s rich cultural heritage. It was an initiative of Uttar Pradesh Tourism.

The gram or village had 17 galleries depicting the period from the Indus Valley to India’s independence with dioramas, paintings, and maps. His company has also been associated with book illustration, advertising, and campaigning. Ashwini has been a part of many big film projects. In addition to his work in films, Ashwini has also worked on TV serials such as Baazigar, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, Jhalli Anjali, Kismat, and Bhairavi. Moreover, he has designed ad films for numerous high-profile brands like Godrej, Nestle, Levi’s, Maxim, and Oxyrich, among many others. He is also involved in many interior designing projects, having designed Parashar Agro Tourism Resort, Junnar, and Surya Mall Resort, Wada.
