Shweta Korde

Shweta Korde is an Indian production assistant and costume designer working predominantly in the Hindi film and television industry. She attended Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan School from 1989 to 2003 and is from Maharashtra. Shweta Korde studied B.Sc in Biochemistry from St. Xavier's College in 2006. She obtained her postgraduate diploma in film direction in 2008 from L V Prasad College of Media Studies. She is married. Shweta Korde started her journey in the entertainment industry as an assistant director at Sundial Pictures. She interned with Mumbai-based Trent Limited from 2010 to 2011. Shweta Korde shifted to Hyderabad in 2011 and worked as a production assistant in the 7 Media Broadcasting.

She was in the creative department at Swastik Productions from 2012 to 2018. Shweta Korde was the assistant director of the 2011 film Padduram and the short film Sinners: Chapter I- Durj. She also designed costumes for the 2016 movie Chaar Sahibzaade 2: Rise of Banda Singh Bahadur and Colors serial Mahakali. Shweta got associated as a creative supervisor with the Mumbai-based Ding Entertainment and ZEE5. She joined Betel Leaf production house as the Senior Creative Head in 2018. Shweta Korde is the recipient of Best Costume Design awards for her work in Mahabharat, Razia Sultan, and Karmaphal Daata Shani.
