Yash Patnaik is a well known Indian television producer, who has created many popular and successful serials alongside his equally talented wife, . He was born on March 12, 1974 and until about 1995, in the early stages of his career, he started out as a media journalist. Over the span of a decade, Yash Patnaik had done it all from Producer to director to CEO. The list of productions in which Yash has taken part is highly extensive and the entertainment world has responded with great enthusiasm and applause with his works.

His work has been the source of prestigious recognition and earned him a spot as a jurist for awards like the International Emmy Awards and, consecutively, the Indian Telly Awards from the years 2011 to 2013. A major source of his success and name comes from his full-length horror Indian film, Kaalo, which was released in the year 2010 and reached international acknowledgment as Best Film and Best Cinematography at an international film festival held at Cape Town.
