Mitu is also the screenwriter for Koi Dil Mein Hai, Samaan Ek Adhikar, and Kasauti Zindagi ki. Mitu's short films O Re Manvaa and Bawra Mann have won many awards. Mitu produced, wrote, and directed the short film "Bawra Mann," The Heart Needs No Reason," which starred Sakshi Tanwar and Nishikant Kamat. The plot revolves around today's metropolitan lady and her life decisions.
