Maxen Chakalakal

Maxen Chakalakal is an Indian producer who was born on 7th October 1973. He was born and brought up in Kochi, Mumbai. His nickname is Max wand had spent around 18 years in Film Production. He had completed his education as a software engineer. Maxen always had a keen interest in film production while he worked as a software engineer for a few years. He finally took a big step in his life and initiated a new phase of his life as a film producer. Therefore, he started working with premium production theatres such as Red Ice Films in the line production field. Further, he got an opportunity to work as General Manager of Operations with the Balaji Telefilms.

He was made the in-charge of productions of four daily TV shows simultaneously while he proved himself in that field too. Moreover, he produced a feature and documentary film too. The Indian producer also worked in Contract Advertising (WPP Group) as Senior Agency Producer, where he handled some big clients such as Asian Paints, Tata Tele Services, Mitsubishi, etc. Later on, after gaining experiences in the production field, he opened his own productions ‘Abstract Films’ with his partner.

He initiated producing national and international TV commercials for clients like Vodafone, Vistaprint, Colgate, Dabur, Godrej, etc. He became the renowned director due to the production of movies such as ‘MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar’ in 2007, ‘ Aagey Se Right Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in 2009, ‘Sau Jhooth Ek Sach’ in 2004, etc. Nowadays, he is struggling with his direction skills and working on his upcoming movies.
