Diksha Jyoti is a writer, director, and creative producer from India. Her short film, The Ideal Bride, marked her debut as a writer-director in 2015. She is happy with the internet response to her short film, "The Ideal Bride." The plot centres around Phuleri, a young wife who is more than pleased to carve out her own space in her sasural, where she would spend her entire life working in the kitchen. Red Velvet, her second short film, was nominated for Best Short Film at the 2019 Filmfare Awards. It was also nominated for the San Diego Women's Film Festival and the Melbourne Indian Film Festival. She worked as an assistant director on Sriram Raghavan's Badlapur (2015) and as a creative producer on Sriram Raghavan's Andhadhun (2018). Dikssha's perceptive eye discovers the stories that develop into important and entertaining films on screen as the Creative Producer of Matchbox Pictures.
