Bhamati Sivapalan is a filmmaker cum editor in the Indian film industry. She graduated in journalism from Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi. She earned her post-graduation degree in mass communication at AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, Jamia Milia Islamia, in Delhi. From 2016 to 2019, Bhamati worked as a guest lecturer at Sri Aurobindo College of Arts and Communications in editing in the Creative Documentary Course.
In 2018, Bhamati edited a short film, Ishq Dosti and All That. She was the sound recordist of the short.
