Ashok Raina is an Indian film and TV series producer. He also acts as an independent consultant and domain expert in visual archiving. He did B.sc from Sri Pratap College, Srinagar, therefore editing course from Film and Television Institution of India, Pune. In the entertainment industry, he entered as a senior Doordarshan editor in 1983. Here he also worked as a producer and domain expert. In this field, he has experience of over 33 years. Since 2000, Ashok Raina has also acted as visiting faculty in various institutions and colleges. The element that led him to cinema was his passion for learning. During his Doordarshan days, his primary focus was News and Current affairs, Live Shows, documentaries, and National- International events. A film produced by him for Doordarshan named ‘Whisper of warming’ won the Golden Beaver Award at the 8th National Science Film Festival. His domain lies in fiction, social engineering, science and technology, and corporate documentaries.
