Anand Mahindra

Anand Mahindra is a well-known Indian Billionaire Businessman and Hindi Movie Producer. He is the Chairman of Mahindra and Mahindra Group, a leader in automotive companies in India. Anand was born on 1st May 1955 in Mumbai. His Parents were Industrialists Harish Mahindra and Indira Mahindra. He did his schooling at Lawrence School, Lovadale, and completed his graduation in Film Making and Architecture from Harvard University. He finished his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1981. He is married to Anuradha. She is an editor and founder of Verve Lifestyle Magazine.

Anand started his career as an Executive Assistant in 1981 at Mahindra Ugine Steel Company Ltd (MUSCO) and within eight years, he became the Deputy Managing Director of the company. He has expanded the company into different areas. In 1991, he joined Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. as Deputy Managing Director and, in 2012 he became Chairman of the group.
