Her two siblings have prosperous professions in the Bollywood business where her sister, Shweta Pandit is also a well-known playback vocalist and her brother Yash Pandit is a movie and TV star. Shraddha's debut in Bollywood song production was with the melody "Mausam Ke Sargam" from the picture Khamoshi the musical as a child artist, which got her prompt fame in the year 1998 and her thriving journey persists till date. A playback soloist's life is like that! If you don't get one tune that makes you distinctive, you never get noticed. No one sees who you are and in how many diverse ways you can hum. Happy that she had the chance of working with Salim-Sulaiman and has done some 80-100 performances with them. The idea was to make the melody sound very Indian and modern in its demonstration. Salim-Sulaiman created the song in just 15 minutes.Typically, with item songs, you are believed to detain yourself within a definite outline, merge the usual ploys to capture viewers’attention, etc. But with Aiyo Ji, she was able to control her voice, take harkats and symbolize the Benaras Gharana. The vocalist hopes that the tune will be a wake-up call for creators who feel she can only chant in a specific manner. When she was very youthful, she had sung for Saaz written by Ustad Zakir Husain. It was there that Salim noticed her talent. The brothers had trusted in her ability and had also explained the gradations of encoding and creating music. They also shaped her album some years back. Since she has a pure classical upbringing but some way she went ignored till Salim-Sulaiman and AR Rahman recognized her work.
