Nipun Cheema is talented Indian pianist and composer from Chandigarh. He started playing piano from his childhood. At the age of 9, he leaded a group ‘Piano Bar’ in Chandigarh. Nipun is the founder of a teaching Colab piano Studio in Chandigarh for classical and jazz musicals. He was creative director at Open Hand Jazz Fest, Chandigarh’s International Jazz Festival second edition in 2019. He gained his fan following after the release of his first Solo Piano Album – Miniatures. It was released on 21 June 2022 under the label of Horus Music and received great streaming on several music platforms including Apple Music, Amazon Music, Sound Cloud, etc. Duration of the album, Miniature is of 12 minutes and comprises five songs namely Hume’s Problem of Induction, Le Blanc N’Existe Pas, Air Chrysalis, Smaller Constellations, Unaccustomed Earth. Nipun Cheema is currently working on his further piano projects at his studio in Chandigarh.
