Suhas Madhukar Khamkar is an Indian Professional Body Builder. He was born on 9 th August 1980. He is a native of the Kolhapur Region and he comes from a family of fitness experts. He grew up watching wrestlers and bodybuilders, so his inspiration came from his hometown only. When he became 16, he got inspired by Arnold Alois Schwarzenegger and promised himself to become a world champion bodybuilder.
He is the first Indian Bodybuilder to win the pro card. He was an employee of the Central Railway of India and he was the first to win a national-level gold medal in Railway national competitions. In 2010, he became the first Indian bodybuilder to win the Mr. Asia contest, also in 2012, he placed 2 nd in Amateur Mr. Olympia in Kuwait. In 2012, Mr. India contest Suhas became 1 st in the 80kg Category. In 2017, he was placed second in the Amateur Asia Mr.Olympia contest. He also won the Mr. Amateur Olympia contest in October 2018.
