Ameya Naik

Ameya Naik is a well-known and one of the most talented and versatile Indian musician and composer. He was born in the year 1980, on the 2nd of October. Ameya had a soul connection with music since his childhood. He was fascinated by the rhythms of the musical beats. Ameya is a trained professional in sound recording and playing the Tabla. Ameya is the track composer behind the profound commercials such as Boroplus, Dena Bank, Amul, The Zee Cine Awards, The Bank of Baroda, and many others.

Ameya has also composed music tracks for Chanakya Chant and Krishna key, which are made in the novels. According to him, while recording for Chanakya Chant, he faced bit difficulties. Since it required a fusion of ancient era music and modern music. A perfect mixture was required, and eventually, he succeeded. Ameya has gained expertise in composing, recording, and sound designing. He is skilled in different genres of music like Indian classical, fusion music, world music, and western composition. He gets his inspiration from the experiences of his life. He derives his fascination with beautiful and serene components of nature, which are appealing. He says this inspires him for his music composition. He says one’s symphony depicts the kind of a person they are.

Ameya plays percussion instruments like Tabla, K-horn, Dholak, Keyboard, and many others. He is also skilled in Vocal percussion. He is a great admirer of the prominent music composer of the Bollywood A.R Rehman, and Ameya also got inspired by him. Ameya is a multifacet composer and undertakes music workshops for corporate schools, colleges, and NGOs. The reason for conducting these workshops is to educate people about the fundamentals of music. 

Ameya has a two-piece band called the dual Core Band. The troupe creates jingles and different rhymes. The conspicuous feature of this band is that they perform a broad genre of music, be it Spanish, Bollywood, Indian Classical, English, Latin, mashups, and many more.
