Vedpal Varma

Vedpal Varma is a story writer and a lyricist. Later, he turned into a music director. He composed music for various films like Hum Junglee Hain in 1973, Mittar Pyare Nu in 1975, and Sacha Mera Roop Hai in 1976. He wrote lyrics for many songs like Man from Africa and Girl from India in 1982, Sunehri Nagin in 1963, Bachhe Mere Saathi in 1972, Maa, Behan aur Biwi in 1973, and Hum Junglee Hain in 1973. He was born and brought up in Rajasthan and was a Sindhi by birth. He made his debut as a music composer for Parichay in 1954 along with Sailesh Dave. In his entire career, he gave music for Aai Phirse Bahar in 1960, Bhootnath in 1963, Sant Tukaram in 1965, Maya Sundari in 1967, Gunehgar in 1967, The Right and The Wrong in 1970, Bheema Mera Haathi in 1973, Kora Badan in 1974, Wafadar in 1976, Oh bewafa in 1980, and Mera Pati Meri Zindagi in 1993.

He composed the musical score for the trilingual which was made in Malayalam as Kaadu in 1973, directed by P. Subramaniam, in Tamil as Malai Naattu Mangai, and also in Hindi as Hum Junglee Hai.
