Jaani Babu, also known as Jani Babu Qawwal Jani Babu Qawwal was an Indian artist in the Hindi >> Read More... is a legendary music director, playback singer, and actor in the Bollywood film industry. He is widely known as a talented Sufi and Qawwali singer and composer in the Bollywood music industry. Jaani Babu was born on 1935, in Hinganghat, Wardha, Maharashtra. He liked to sing sufi and qawwali songs since childhood and was encouraged by one of his teachers to participate in a qawwali competition. He sang all the notes perfectly and decided to pursue qawwali singing as a career.

Some of his famous songs are Khalli Walli Story Soon >> Read More... , Raat Abhi Baaki Hai, Mehangai Maar Gayi, and many more. Over the years, he has sung for many Bollywood films like Jungle Princess (1958), Magic Carpet (1964), Mere Gharib Nawaz (1973),  Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974) Shankar Shambu (1976), Do Khiladi (1976), Mastan Dada (1977), Shirdi Ke Sai Baba (1977), and many more. He is also an accomplished music director and has composed music for many films like Noor Mahal (1963), Qabool E Parwardigaar (1978), Market (2003), and so on. 

Apart from being a music director and singer, Jaani Babu is also a talented actor and has acted in some films like  Jungle Princess (1958). Tarzan Aur Jadui Chirag (1966) and Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974).
