Aabha Hanjura is a very famous Indian songwriter and music composer. She has released songs in various languages such as Hindi, Kashmiri, Punjabi and Dogri. She founded the famous pop band Sufistication, where she performed as a lead vocalist. She draws inspiration for her songs from Indian folklore and legends and weaves them into beautiful songs for her audience. Her songs are a blend of contemporary pop music and Sufi style. She hails from the background of Kashmiri Pandits; and was born in Srinagar, Kashmir. She is trained professionally in Hindustani classical music and auditioned for the singing show Indian Idol for their second season.
