Somesh Mathur was born in 1977, in a musical family. His father was an advocate of Agra Gharana. His mother was a devoted follower of Pandit V.G. Somesh grew up to be a famous singer, composer, and music producer in India. He was infamously known as Panditji.

He performed in Raga Durga and was acknowledged by everyone for his brilliance at merely four years of age. He pursued his passion for classical music and gained luminary acclaim like Sangeet Visharat. Also, he focused to improve academically through his MBA from University of Delhi.

His career got off with a mesmerizing performance at the Sangeet Research Academy, henceforth receiving prizes and praise from classical music luminaries.

Throughout his career, Mathur has published twenty-one albums and forty-three music videos, including 'Ghalib,' ' Jai Ganesha Jai Ganesha is a TV serial that aired on Zee TV in >> Read More... ,' 'Shiva Shlokas,' and 'Radhai Ram Radhai Shyam,' as well as the new Indi-American hit, "Time Stood Still."

His desire to be a vocalist, songwriter, and producer for Pink Floyd demonstrates his vast musical abilities. He has delivered albums of lasting influence throughout his career, including "Ek Nayi Baat" and "Achcha Hai." He has performed on international stages, including with prominent singers such as Jon Bon Jovi and Sting. Somesh Mathur's notable accomplishments include recording and performing with Asha Bhosale, creating Sweet Beats, and composing music for Bollywood films. His ambition is to develop Indian classical and folk melodies as a new worldwide music genre while also uplifting poor folk singers and musicians.
