Ashit Desai

Ashit Desai was born in Baroda, Bombay State, in 1951 to Kunjbihari and Mayuriben Desai. He studied music from his parents initially. He earned a bachelor's degree in commerce and a diploma in vocal music from M. S. University of Baroda before moving to Mumbai in search of work.
