Shweta Verma is an Indian actress who is known for her work in Bollywood. She has played the lead role in a few Hindi feature films. Shweta began her career as an air hostess with the Air Emirates. She had nursed a long time passion for acting with dreams of making it big as a movie star. She quit her job in airlines to start a career in the Hindi film industry. She did some modeling shoots for advertisements and catalogs, trying to find herself a spot on the big screen.
Her debut role was in the 2010 mystery-thriller, ‘Hide and Seek.’ She played one of the main characters in the story, which made her first step as an actress. In 2011, she married Rustum Tiwari in a huge celebrity-filled wedding. Her next casting was in the ‘Bhindi Bazaar’, where she adopted the role of Simran. Her character features as the romantic interest of a goon in Mumbai’s mafia.
