Sheena Bhattessa

Sheena Bhattessa, born in London, is a British model and actress of Indian origin. She is also a travel freak and does voiceover and dubbing in commercials and films. She was seen in Bollywood movies like " Jhoom Barabar Jhoom Click to look into! >> Read More... " (2007) and " Love Aaj Kal Click to look into! >> Read More... " (2009) and also worked in various TV series like "The Fixer" (2009), "EastEnders" (2012), "The Loedown" (2014), Doctors Story Soon >> Read More... (2012-2014) and "Midsomer Murders" (2016). She is currently seen playing an NSA Special Agent, Karen Stokes, in the crime series, "Ransom", airing on CBS. Bhattessa went to James Allen’s Girls’ School in London and completed her degree in Law from King’s College in 2004. After completing her degree, she enrolled herself in the acting course in Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in 2005.

She continued playing major as well as minor roles in other series like Preeti in "Whitechapel" (2012), Samina Anwar in "EastEnders", the lead, an Executive PA named Jessie Loe in "The Loedown", Tarzeem Hussain in "Doctors", Sgt. Yasmin Ali in "Midsomer Murders", etc. Bhattessa is also actively involved in theaters. She played the role of the Queen of Herat in the play, "The Great Game: Afghanistan", performed by the Tricycle drama company. The play toured all over America and became a big success. It was performed for the Pentagon in 2011 and was also nominated for the Olivier Awards. Apart from acting and modeling, Sheena is also into editorial work and traveling.

She loves globetrotting and is a travel guide and editor in Citizen Femme, a luxury travel guide for women. She is known as a PR guru in the Public Relations sector and is the Managing Director of ITS PR, a Public Relations firm. She had also worked in G2 Magazine as a Social Editor. She also did a few voice overs in commercials and movies and voiced for the character Annie in "And You Will Obey Me", an audio story. Sheena believes that as an actor one must be available for all types of roles as it shows her versatility. She wants to keep on continuing with her acting and PR career simultaneously as well as discover new places all around the world.
