Prerna Wanvari is an Indian model and actress who started her acting career on February 2009. She was born on November 22, 1989 in Andheri, Mumbai, India. She likes to do dancing and acting and luckily, she was given the chance to enter the glamour world in such a short span of time. She also made a performance in the dance class show, Nachle Ve, hosted by on NDTV Imagine. Prerna is also a disciple of famous dancer and choreographer, Terence Lewis.

She became popular for essaying the role of Kadambiri Shashank Mehta in Ekta Kapoor’s Bandini in 2009. Prerna was also part of the horror show, Koi Aane Ko Hai which was aired on Colors TV. In 2010, the actress bagged the role of Shivani in Director Kut’s Productions’ ‘Sapna Babul Ka…Bidaai’ on STAR Plus. She also made a guest appearance on NDTV Imagine’s Kitani Mohobbat Hai where she danced to the tune of the Punjabi song, Mera Laung Vacha during the engagement of Arohi Sharma (played by ) and Arjun Punjj )played by ). Subsequently, she essayed the role of Raveena Vikram Garewal, the younger sister of Sameer Soni’s character in the drama soap, Parichay – Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka on Colors TV. In 2013 up to the present, she played as Sunaina in the courtroom drama series, Adaalat on Sony TV. She was also seen in the serial, and made a cameo appearance in the horror television series, on Colors.

Prerna also enters the film industry and she was part of the Bollywood film, P Se PM Tak under the direction of which stars Meenakshi Dixit.

She also has passion in theatre and it motivates her to connect to both worlds. So besides acting in the small and big screen, she is also doing theatre and played a pivotal role in the play, Wake Up Call. She also donned a play by , the Laali of the 2010 Hindi film, Shahrukh Bola “Khoobsurat Hai Tu”, which was adapted from Devdutt Pattanaik’s book, The Pregnant King. The actress stated that she is not acting in theatre to gain something, but she wanted to experience it. She also auditioned for the film, Life of Pi but it didn’t work well.

She also donned a Secret Temptation advertisement which became very popular. She was one of the top ten Best Supporting Actresses at the 5th Gold Awards for her performance in Parichay in 2012. She also presented the Arts Programming award at the 40th International Emmy Awards.
