Preetika Chawla

Preetika Chawla is a model and an actress from Bollywood. She began her career by doing roles in Television serials like Mumbai Calling and Jyoti. The actress also made her debut in the movie Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu (2010). In the movie, she essayed the role of a diehard fan of Shahrukh Khan, the Bollywood actor. She has acted in shows such as Mumbai Calling (as Nayna), Jyoti (TV Series) (as rich woman), Luck By Chance (as reporter, Roshni), Shahrukh Bola "Khoobsurat Hai Tu (As Laali), Bring on the Night (TV series) (as Jigna Sanghvi), One by Two (As Anika Mahajan), Sunsilk Real FM (As Natasha) and Bang Baaja Baaraat (As Barkha). The serial Jyoti, which she had acted in, told the story of a working woman, who sacrifices her desires and ambitions for the sake of happiness of others. In the movie Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu, Preetika essays the role of Laali, who is a flower seller and a diehard fan of Shahrukh Khan.

Her life takes an absolute turn when her dream actor stops by her shop a day and exclaims “Khoobsurat Hain Tu”. The moment she hears this, she faints and doesn’t get an opportunity to reply back. Preetika did her schooling from Dehradun (Welham Girls School). After school, she enrolled herself for correspondence in BA honors at the Delhi University. In the second year of her college, she joined a production house by the name Blue Mango Films. Afterwards, she got a role in drama ‘Me, Grand dad and an Elephant’ at the Prithvi Theatre. Soon after that, the director offered her the lead role in Shahrukh Bola Khoobsurat Hai Tu. Preetika loves passing the time by cooking, checking Facebook and watching TV. She is also a hardworking actress and spends around six hours on rehearsals.
