Piya Trivedi

Piya Trivedi is an Indian model and actress. During her initial years of career development, she wanted to become an interior designer, but soon she was fascinated by the glamor of the fashion industry and decided to become a model.

She was born and raised in Mumbai. She completed her Higher Secondary Education from the Bombay Scottish School. She started her career as a model. She has walked the ramp for national as well as international designers.

Piya also worked as a VJ for quite a while with Channel V. She hosted various shows on the channel.

She was the host of Season four and season five of "Get Gorgeous", a Channel V reality, and model hunt show. As the official VJ of Channel V, Piya interviewed the international singing sensation, Enrique. She recalls the interview in Amsterdam to be the most fun episode of her life. The idol sang a song for her in Hindi and even gave her a few pecks.

In 2004, the model was also Kingfishers' calendar girl. The actress appeared on the silver screen with the Rohan Sippy directed, Bluffmaster. She impersonated a cameo role in the movie and was a part of the song, Right here right now.

The song gave her immense popularity. She later starred in another song, Nobody like you in the movie, Mission Istanbul. The song gave her another chance to work with Abhishek Bachan whom she considered her lucky charm.

In 2009, she appeared on the Indian Reality game show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, season two as a participant. Piya made her official Bollywood debut as an actor in Hum Tum Shabana. She played the role of Rhea in the movie opposite to Shreyas Talpade, Minissha Lamba, and Tusshar Kapoor.

The movie did badly and thus did not improve the actress' chance in Bollywood. She got numerous offers from directors of South Indian movies, but she rejected the offers because the prerequisite was to gain some weight, which was unacceptable for her.

She also stands for animal rights issues. The most beautiful thing about her journey is her confidence in herself. She was always proud of her figure and never compromised on her beliefs and ways of life.
