But in that film she played a role of a 10-year old teenage girl who goes to Goa and meets Dino who was a dance instructor, Onjolee is a dancer in her personal life. Actually, she is familiar with a lot of styles in dancing. But when she had to perform with Dino Morea Latin-American dancing it was an indeed a challenging task for this actress. Not only the steps were different but she was even scary at times to achieve the perfection as instructed by her choreographer in the film. Onjolee Nair was a BA student from Mumbai, who is well trained in Kathak, ballet and jazz, but she learn Salsa dance as per the demand of the movie. In many types of salsa dancing, as a dancer she had to understand different movement with up-and-down shoulder movements, and she had to circle and dance mostly in front of one another, which was a tough task for her and even Dino Morea.

Onjolee was the most unconventional heroine and hence was not given a super sized welcome. Although Pooja Bhatt had praised her talent and dedication in the film ‘Holiday’, she did not make any impact and was almost forgotten. Even she was not a plus size heroine either. She was lean and youngest heroine of her time. Bollywood has seen actresses come and go very often. Onjolee Nair is one among them. During the promotion of her only film ‘Holiday’, Onjolee was lauded equivalent to Kajol but she lacked confidence and did not have the courage to become another Bipasha ( who grew up from Mahesh Bhatt’s camp) as she lacked an attitude. Onjolee is just one film one wonder. Nobody knows what she is doing now.
